Ithaka's "The Day Was Hot" (produced by Mario Caldato Jr.) was included on the 1998 compilation called Tejo Beat released by Nortesul Records (Portugal) in association with Antena 3 radio and Expo 98 (The 1998 World's Fair). The track was vocalized written by Ithaka Darin Pappas (lyrics) with music by Arkam Hi-Fi who selected the vinyl samples. There was also a live bass played by the famous Portuguese musician/producer Carlos Barretto.
