Muitos já devem conhecer este grande artista. Na Revista Parafina edição de abril de 2010, nosso colunista Fernando Bari fez matéria com ele.  Íthaka está direto na mídia, aparecendo em várias publicacões no mundo todo e sem dúvida, é um grande artista.

Atualmente está expondo as Pranchas Reencarnadas de Íthaka em Portugal, na Galeria WOA, em Cascais.

Ithaka "Tree Girls, Flower Sisters & Mother Nature (sculpture series)

"Tree Girls, Flower Sisters & Mother Nature" a early sculpture series from the project, The Reincarnation Of A Surfboard by contemporary artist, Ithaka. These ten pieces were created at Ithaka's Curson Avenue studio in Los Angeles between 1991-1992 and were inspired largely on his six month stay in Athens in 1991. Series includes the individual works entitled: Geraldine, Sophula-Fish, Sophula, Olga, Nela, Narsmina, Marpessa, Roula, Evangelia and Ursula.

The Reincarnation Of A Surfboard is a body of sculpture work created by contemporary artist, musician, photographer, writer and surfer, Ithaka. The project, which began in 1989 consist of approximately two-hundred and fifty wall-hanging sculptures that have been made using recycled surfboards as raw building material. The series to date has been exhibited on four continents. The most recent solo exibition of these works was hosted by WOA: Way Of Arts in Cascais, Portugal in December of 2012.
