As of 2025 there have been more than a thousand verified remixes (with more than 60 million total downloads) of the iconic 1992 vocal-poem song "So Get Up" by Greek-Californian songwriter and visual artist, Ithaka (Ithaka Darin Pappas).  Underground Sound of Lisbon's 1994 remix was perhaps one of the more popular versions and with its U.K. and U.S. licensing deals on Tribal Records in the early nineties, elevated exposure of the poem to a more international audiences.

In 2022, Ukrainian deep house producer Lucky Choice (aka Taras Revansh власник музичного лейблу) collaborated with Greek-Californian lyricist-vocalist Ithaka (aka Ithaka Darin Pappas) on the dynamic track "Next Life". The song, based on Ithaka's original 1992 iconic track "So Get Up" became and instant dance floor classic in Ukraine, Eastern Europe and Mumbai.

The Reincarnation of a Surfboard is a body of sculpture work created by Ithaka Darin Pappas. The project, which began in 1989 consist of approximately 300 wall-mounted sculptures that have been made using recycled surfboards as raw building material. The series to date has been exhibited on four continents.
